Is there a right and wrong way to fix lows?

I have had problems with going low as well. When I eat a snack because I am low, I don’t bolus. I enter what I am going to eat and then override the bolus amount to zero. When I am low, I usually continue to fall after I eat a snack. Also, “fast-acting” carbs don’t work all that fast on me. I usually don’t see results for about 30 minutes. I started a discussion called Fast Acting Carbs aren’t fast and the responses might help you. Paul ‘Boysie’ Barette’s suggestion to “swiggle” them around in my mouth has worked for me.
