Richard, do you remember when you were able to use something besides Benedict’s Solution? Did you move to the testing tablets, or the Clinistix and when did that happen?

Bernard, I used Benedict’s solution for many years. The next product I used was Tes-Tape, which I used until I bought my first glucometer in the mid 1980s. I do not remember when I started using Tes-Tape. The Clinitest tablets and Clinistix may have been a better way of testing urine, but I knew nothing about them until after I started using glucometers. My doctors were not very good about keeping up with new products for diabetics. I wish computers and the internet were available back then.
