I would remove the clip first.
Medtronic has a new clip, which I believe is made out of the same material, but it might be different. I would call the 800 number and get it. I love the new clip it has a break away feature that saves the clip on the belt. Might be worth a try.

Thank you! I was just yelling silently at the clip yesterday for getting hung on everything. I’ll do that.
I dont like the new MM clip. It slides around when I’m operating the pump. The tubing often gets caught in the clip mechanism, squishing the tubing to the point I suspect it may cause a no delivery issue. My fav clip is the old dark gray clip. The old clear ones break too often/easily.
I still love mine.
