A.K.A. Low Blood Sugars

When I first started taking insulin, I knew virtually nothing about it and its affects. One afternoon I was feeling strange, so I lay down on my bed and turned on the news. After dozing for a while, I looked again at the TV and discovered to my horror that earth was being invaded by wierd-looking aliens. Feeling really dizzy, I sat up and ate some candy from my nightstand, and slowly came to realize that I was watching Star Trek! I feel entitled to call myself and my first hypo by the old cliche, “spacey.”
