Almost without realizing it, I’ve come to the point where I need to start researching the pump. June 1 is the day we switch Eric to my insurance, and “medically necessary devices” are covered–as are prescriptions, HALLELUJAH! The impact this will have on my bottom line is HUGE, as I’m sure I don’t need to tell anyone out there. We have an appointment with Eric’s endo on the 2nd so we’ll start getting serious then.

We can all relate to the relief that insurance coverage brings!!!
Here’s hoping that our legislators will bring that relief to more of us soon. I’ve been sending many an email to Maine’s delegation on that front.
