Abbott has the Libre 2 in Europe
There was a time when I would have considered this a significant upgrade. But today, I’m less certain. I’ve used the Libre for over a year and I’m very glad to have it. But I’m not ready to make dosing adjustments just on readings. Some sensors have been spot on, but too many have not. Further, at night, I get more inaccurate readings, probably from pressure on the sensor. I think if you want to maintain reasonably tight control, you would have way more nuisance alarms than helpful alerts. I know that some users report very accurate results consistently. But I’m not one of them.
