Welcome to the site, Lewis - it’s good to have you join us! I am a huge nerd also - always reading!!! Have you read any of the Dresden File books by Jim Butcher? Just saying, they are outstanding. I’ve been a T1 for 40 yrs - translate: for freaking ever - currently using an Omnipod pump, and am enrolled in the NIH Clinical Trial for islet cell transplants at the U of Minnesota.
