Wow that seems crazy. My little boy just found out that he has type 1 diabetes in January of this year. He is only 18 months old. It has been alot of work, but we are managing good. It is difficult being a single mom, but i have my sister who is also living with type 1 diabetes. She is 25 and has diabetes for 15 years. We are close and lean on each other for support. So do you have any kids? Well any advice that you have for someone who is new to all of this I would love to hear. Hope to talk to you soon. Samantha
