Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet (TrialNet) is an international network of researchers who are exploring ways to prevent, delay and reverse the progression of type 1 diabetes. Studies are conducted in non-diabetic persons at risk of type 1 diabetes in an effort to delay the development of type 1 diabetes as a clinical disease, and in individuals with type 1 diabetes who are either newly diagnosed or have evidence of sustained beta cell function. Studies include long-term follow-up of subjects developing type 1 diabetes.
