After over 20 years of being misdiagnosed it's official, I'm a Type 1

And even more confusing with diabetes insipidus is it It has nothing to do with insulin or sugar. It goes back to the thirsty all the time so you pee all the time. It is an imbalance of fluids.

35% of T1’s are misdiagnosed as T2’s at first. I was too for over 8 years.

Antibody tests are accurate for the most part and can be done less expensively and should be done on every pwd.

Been there, It was the worst experience
in a hospital ever!!!

Congratulations. It was a really action on your part that you insisted on insulin.

John

Anymore, it just seems like if you don’t advocate for yourself and arm yourself with knowledge, the “health” system could kill you. So unacceptable! What if you hadn’t insisted on insulin? You’d be on the list for a kidney right now, or worse! It’s sad for people who are not well educated. They don’t have a chance.
