What kind of batteries and how many do you use in the medtronic pump?
One, AAA. Mine ussually last a month or so with my pump on vibe all the time which I think eats them up faster. Be careful not to over tighten the cap!

whats do you guys use to carry your pump around?
I use the slim belt clip that comes with the pump mostly(I do not like the holster, too bulky). I put it on the front of my pocket, and it works well there. I also just put it in my pocket.
When I workout I use a Spibelt.

No back-up pumps we ever sent to me! They’re just too expensive to do that!!
I love my Minimed Paradigm 722. Yes, the tubes do get torn out sometimes, but oh well! I like the 43" tubes. When I can afford to order more, I will get the longer ones again. The Medtronic supervisor sent me a couple of 21"(?) when I couldn’t afford to buy them but I’m anxious to get back to the 43".
