i agree,…all of the surgeries ive had i told them im on a pump and a CGM. make sure your staff is looking at it to be sure im not going low or high, etc. it is important for me to keep it on, etc. so i never had an issue.
the only issue i ran into is when im in the hospital for a DKA they tend to do the sliding scale and i have to explain to them i dont do the sliding scale. once i can go back on my pump i hug it. makes me glad to be on it again so i can do what i need to do.
