Average BS rising on Tandem Control IQ need suggestions

In the past six months I have been running average BS around 136 whereas prior to that I was running 115-120 or so. My a1c is 6.4 where it used to be in the high 5’s. My old tricks are not working to bring it down.
I have been less active due to a painful knee. My body fat has risen although weight is stable. I have upped basal rate about .5 to 1 above previous rates. I over bolus meals which does turn off basal and I just sit 135-145 after coming down from meal spike. I am fasting today to see what is going to happen. Oh, and I am currently running sleep mode 24/7 but have tried regular mode with no more success.
Do I need to continue to increase basal until fasted leaves me in the 110-130 range even though that feels like a lot more insulin for me???

Less active usually means you need less food/calories, and reduce insulin to maintain weight and insulin balance.

My basal rates on Tandem are much higher than they were on Medtronic (manual mode) because of the way Control IQ works. I had to really increase my basal rates over all 24 hours, but with the CIQ adjustments I still only get around the same amount of basal I did on Medtronic. You said you’ve already increased your basal rates but you might have to increase them a little more until your numbers come down.
