After several weeks we finally got my son’s basals squared away. I can’t believe how much insulin he requires now. I wish I had kept track of how much he’s increased over the last year but I bet it’s close to 20 units more per day. Anyhow, just hoping we can keep pulling in good numbers. Endo appt at the end of the month. For once I’d like great numbers to show him!
Glad you’ve got it figured out. Insulin needs change frequently, especially with young, growing bodies. Don’t know how old your son is, but growth spurts require more insulin. Good numbers are what counts, not how much insulin. Congrats on your hard work!
