can we give 1 or 2 day break for ARB and ACB inhibitors(B.P controlling medicines) as our kidneys and body also wants relief

ACE and ARB medications not only are prescribed for blood pressure but also to protect your kidneys from harm due to high blood pressure so a drug holiday may not be advisable. On the other hand missing a day’s dose on a rare occasion woud not be a big issue. I would not advise on doing this. That is a pharmacist speaking… you should discuss with your doctor.

Hi Ravinder,
I just read a report that said ARB and ACB don’t really do much for kidneys, but did a lot for preventing eye problems!!
Just thought you should know.
