FYI- In that situation you can disconnect the infusion set from the cartridge and pull air into the cartridge. Reconnect the infusion set to the cartridge and load it all up as if there was insulin in the cartridge. When you get to priming only prime1 unit so the pump thinks it has been primed and won’t alarm you. Even the shortest tubing holds at least 7 units so you should be able to at least give yourself a few more hours.
