D-friendly red sangria recipe from Diabetes Daily

Recipe from Diabetes Daily. I LOVE sangria!!

1 bottle inexpensive, red Spanish wine
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1 peach, pitted and sliced
1/4 cup Cointreau, or orange liquor
2 packets, Stevia, Splenda, or artificial sweetener of your choice
1/2 liter diet 7-Up

Combine all ingredients except for the 7-Up in a pitcher and stir. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight. Right before serving, add the 7-Up.

That looks tasty!!

The thing we drink in the summer is kir, dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc, etc.) with a slug of creme de cassis in it, a couple ice cubes and a lemon twist (ok, I'm lazy about that...), bright and refreshing. Maybe 6-10G of carbs. Kir Royale is champagne w/ creme de cassis and a recent development is the Katyusha, w/ Champagne and raspberry vodka, sometimes fancy w/ sugared lemon rim and raspberries when we're organized.
