I see the Daily Mail headline of ‘Britain’s Diabetes Explosion’, is really scraping the barrel. It still seems to be the trend to make assumptions about diabetic people that they have an unhealthy lifestyle and lack exercise. I think their reporters are too lazy to put a worthy headline on the paper and so resort to these tactics. How would the reporters feel if their medical condition was vilified in the newspaper.
Yes, such a headline speaks of journalistic laziness for sure. It does make it difficult to get people to treat you seriously.
