Dexcom crazy pills

We are having similar issues with CCS Medical with regards to getting an insulin pump for my wife (hers is out of warranty and damaged). I’ve begun to get involved and am blown away by the lack of movement on her pump order. They claim the doctor hasn’t provided the correct forms, yet the same doctor and CCS Med had no issues recently when I ordered a new pump. One employee assigned to my wife’s account left the company and no one told us so that wasted many weeks of our time.

I was talking with a paramedic the other week about physical damage to the pump, @Dave44.

I think this is a safety issue.
Have you considered resorting to MI until its replaced?
I know that’s an awful alternative, but I’m just concerned about her safety.
I ask because I care, Dave. Not trying to be the safety police or do the safety dance.
I’m sure you are being careful…but, just gotta throw it out there.

Seems a bit dangerous to be encouraging her to operate a pump with physical damage. (them, not you, I mean.)

she has a loaner pump from Medtronic, for at least 90 days.
