This is good news for diabetics who are anxiously awaiting to see Medicare reimburse them for DexCom-related expenses. The DexCom is a “short-term sensor that wirelessly transmits glucose readings to a
hand-held receiver, providing real time continuous measurements.”
As of today, it’s not paid for by Medicare of insurance companies, but the announcement made this week makes this a matter of time…
