It would probably take a jailbreak to be able to install it, but it should be possible to decompile the IPA package and manually replace the sound file. if you can get the IPA packages now that the App Store has gone “all iThing” (VERY annoying if you see a package you want while browsing on your Mac).
That might break code-signing, depending on if signing is only for the actual code file, or for everything. Jailbreak might be able to get around that install problem - unless code signing is baked into the kernel itself now.
I told my endo that the sound was loud enough to perhaps actually trigger a seizure - he dismissed the idea as “unlikely”. Is there such a thing as an auditory-triggered seizure? I know there is visual.
