The Dexcom users out there, do you check the sensor your removing to make sure the wire is still attacked.
I’ve done this for year’s and this last replacement it paid out. The wire had broken off the sensor.
It left just enough above the skin to be able to remove it with trezzers. This is the first for me in six years.

Good to know! I try to look as years ago I heard of someone having the same issue, so it helps to know it happens often enough to remind us all to always check!
No, I rotate where I put the sensors always in the same rotation sequence. The time a wire broke off, it was quite noticeable a day later where the sensor with the broken wire had been removed
I always look every time.

By my looking every time is how I caught the broken wire.
