We know that Medicare has delayed in approving and sending out Dexcom G5’s. The following link helps explain the reasons for the delays. It also announces that the G5’s are beginning to ship now.
Richard the addition of the meter is a big deal because Ascencia is currently the meter of choice for the Medtronic 630 and 670 pumps. On a call a few months ago the representative from Roache’ said that next year they will link to the 630 and 670 pumps. It seems unlikely that Acencia will be renewed now that they are working with Dexcom. I believe we are seeing the start of what will be a new meter approved for the 670 pump sometimes next year.

Roche’s said they were not starting to interface with Medtronic pumps until at least 2018. I asked if they were replacing Acencia and they gave a no comment. LOL
It is a future thing if at all.
