And what works at one time may not work at another. Why can’t it be less confusing???

We were planning the older sibling scheme, but in the end what worked is we got an Elite RoadID badge that is customizable size, super secure but HUGE. Our kid initially took the slimmer road ID band off his hand, but then we put the bigger one one him. We told him we could switch to the smaller one if he kept it on, and he happily switched and hasn’t taken it off since.
