“If/when there is a cure, I think that I would miss it just as much as I would be happy to be rid of it.” I hear you on that one, there are plenty of times where I think that Diabetes has given me an Identity where I otherwise would have none. Almost to the point where I feel like I have a purpose. I think that’s more of an indictment of my personality sans-Diabetes but there is no denying its role in shaping the person that I am today.
