I was diagnosed October 23, 2002. Initially, type 2 (wrong diagnosis). I am type 1.5.
My daughter Olivia was diagnosed June 12th, 2007

T2, July 16, 2002 (fasting blood glucose, put on ADA diet crossed with low-sodium diet). Officially told, and started on Glucotrol XL, July 21, 2002. For some reason, though, “July 12” keeps sticking in my brain.

I was dx Type 1 on Sept 15, 1945. In the late 1990’2 I developed insulin resistance, a symptom of Type 2. I am now a “double diabetic” with both Type 1 and Type 2.
I think Gina is looking to see if there are any incidences of two community members being diagnosed the same month, day, and year, and possibly also the same type. So, your “diagnosis twin” would have been diagnosed 9/15/45.

I put my answer in here last night, but don’t see it now. Maybe i didn’t push enough buttons. I was diagnosed in September 2007, originally type 2. Misdiagnosed. am now diagnosed as type 1.5

Just had my “anniversary” last month. I was diagnosed on May 20, 1992.
March 20 2007. Misdiagnosed Type 2, confirmed LADA May 14, 2007.
Diagnosed Type 1 on July 6th, 2007.
September 20, 1967. I did have a boss for a long time that was paralyzed (quad) in an accident the exact same day as my dx. We were both almost 13 at the time.
