Type 1 April, 24 2008
I was diagnosed with type1 on 28th April 1993.
I know for sure I was Dx in June 2004 w/ Type 1.5. The date was either the 7th or the 14th…lol
Well then happy (perhaps belated) fourth anniversary!
I guess I’m your long lost twin - 11/25/1978 - it will be my 30 year anniversary this year. It was just after Thanksgiving and I had a very typical T1 onset. Polys, weight loss, DKA. I was started on Mixed pork-beef N and R twice a day. It seems so archaic now, but it worked.
So Gina, bond for life?

It looks that way! i was diagnosed right after thanksgiving as well. To me it seems like yesterday. i had all the symptoms as well. Don’t ask me how im alive.

Well, we’re awfully close, Mick… I was diagnosed October 23, 1978. I told my hubby that he needs to throw me a ginormous party to celebrate making it to this point and wish me luck on the next 30 years!
