Does ocular prednisone raise bg?

While I know that both oral and injected steroids raise blood sugars, I've never seen a discussion on whether the steroid eye drops used after cataract surgery have much effect on blood glucose levels. I'm scheduled for cataract surgery in January (both eyes, two weeks apart, will probably be using the eye drops for a total of about 6 weeks.)

Have any of you had experience with this?

I’ve had 2 cataract surgeries and don’t remember having any drops but I do know the drops you’ll be taking are steroids so they might raise your bs.
