Ashley as everyone here has already agreed on she should have been pulled over. That was not the point of this blog, it was the actions taken toward Missy by one of the officers.
Yes the police see the worse of the worse and for the most part people do not tell them the truth or even cooperate with them so they have to be prepared for the worse and their guard has to be up. That is for their protection. I would not want to be a police officer it is a hard job it is not easy.
But when you have a person who is cooperating with an officer and someone has informed him that the person is in need of medical assistance that officer should listen and not refused that assistance.
I have a lot of respect for the police but one officer can make all of them look bad. I am sure you can agree with that Ashley.
This one officer has pulled Missy’s car over three times today alone and she was not even in the car two of the times and was not driving either. He has it out for her. He knows that she can not hear him when he talks to her so he talks without facing her so she can read his lips. There is a code on her drivers lic so any police that looks at her lic will know that she is deaf so he has no excuse for not knowing. She does not have any problems with any of the other officers only this one.
