I use the one touch and was getting those error messages…turns out my vial lid was not always closed right after taking out a strip AND I left my purse in the car when it was hot or cold. I’ve since ensured that I keep the lid closed, always get a strip with dry hands and keep them as temperature controlled as I am (ok, I have menopause, so probably not the best but…) I no longer get that message, I only get the error when I don’t have enough blood on the strip (my fault as I should know by now)
Sorry I didn’t respond sooner on this…it’s been a hectic few weeks. Anyway, your point is great, and I’ve decided that from now on, I’ll save any defective strips, along with the bottle information, and call One Touch. Good advice, and thank you!
