For those of you using FreestyleLibre sensors and wanting to use the LibreLink app on Samsung Galaxy S8 phones, there’s good news. When I first got my Galaxy S8, LibreLink detected the sensor just once and then went silent. It didn’t even give an error message, it just didn’t even see the sensor. I’ve been in contact the guys at Abbot Diabetes since this happened.
My Samsung got a software upgrade a couple of days ago and is now able to detect the sensor. I currently can’t read anything, as I’m in the middle of a sensor initiated with the Freestyle reader, but when I start the next one, I will try and run both the Freestyle reader and the phone and report back.
