Not that brave (yet) But I think the woman who did try it suggested (she included a photo) the outside side of the "girl" Maybe some day. I do have this spray - it is called Les Pain from the fifty/50 website. It is a topical numbing spray and it really works. spray it on, wait about 20 minutes and voila! I use it when I insert manually the angled infusion sets.
Thanks so much for finding this. I also googled and there seems to be home for beach parties and some special occasions where I would not want to be hooked to device. But I am sure that will take a lot of training and tight control of my BG. Anyways, very excited to be able to find some way around this problem.
ouch, that must hurt as a hell, and I wonder what does the injection site looks like after she has removed it. I still would not risk doing it, and not even sure if that is medically safe thing to do.
Just received my Animas Ping on Dec 19,last and with the assistance of a nurse from Animas and others, tracking me for the last month. I love this pump now. To almost immediately obtain improved bg levels and just feel better daily is so important to my well-being. The first two weeks I had such anxiety just changing the inclusion sets going through 4 at a time and even filling the pump. I finally watched Danica's youtube for easy reference.
