Going on the Needle

Hello Everyone…

Long story short… First Doc thought I was type II… not so much … type 1.5…( gray zone) …
Looks like they want to put me a daily shot....
What is that going to be like... things to expect....kinda nervous.
Cheers
Andrew

Depending on your dose of basal insulin the pen is the way to go. If it is over 50 units then it’s easier to inject with a syringe. Really don’t hurt. The needles are pretty thin and quite sharp. Go right in.

Seagator’s right go for the smaller needles. Before I went on the pump I was using the 31g 5/8".
