Great to be here

It’s great to find this site and be a part of the tudiabetes community. My name is Stu and I will celebrate 41 years with type one later this month. So far it’s been a phenomenal ride and hope to have many more successful years without any major complications. I recently switched from an Animas pump to an OmniPod which I love. No tubing to get tangled up in, kink, or hassle with. All pumps are better than multiple injections, but this one seems to work for me better than the others.

I’m a writer, photographer, and fundraiser for a children’s hospital. I don’t have any kids, but I get deep satisfaction by working to help them.

I’m looking forward to meeting others within this network.

Welcome Stu,

I just joined the 41 year club this past summer and I have no kids as well, but many wonderful nieces and nephews. I have been a pumper for 4.5 years.

Hiya Stu, Welcome to the Diabetes Blogosphere.

You look like a fun guy just by your picture. Two of my children spent time at Children’s hospital in Denver - one successfully and one not. It must be a very gratifying job.
