Hey TuDiabetes Family!

Brooke and I wanted to share some news with you all, especially since you’ve been part of my extended family for a great many years.

We originally encountered some fertility issues when trying to grow our little family, which honestly was much harder to handle than I anticipated. I have always considered myself a self-sufficient, independent-and-capable-type of guy, so experiencing this setback was hard. Thankfully, we have a very supportive network of friends and family that helped us through this difficult time.

We also consulted some reproductive endocrinology specialists to help overcome these setbacks, and I am now proud to share the news that…

We could not be more excited to have our family growing (doubling–holy moly!). I will try to follow-up with some pics when we have some from our next physician visit.

I’m so happy for you. My kids are now 23 and 21 years old but they truly give my life meaning. I hope you find such joy and happiness.

Definitely blessings for us Judith! And yes Brian I feel like they’ve already changed my life so much and I’ve only seen one picture of them–I can’t even imagine what’s in store!
And Marie, I think God works in wondrous ways! I am glad that the reasoning was a good one as well :slight_smile:

Congratulations to you both. Your life will never be the same… nor would you want it to be! My two grown children watched my take injections each day, and it was just something that was always there. Now, with the OmniPod, my two-year-old grandson does not know why, but he knows that Grandma beeps! The other day a large truck beeped in front of his house as it backed up, and my grandson said, “Grandma?”

I wish you all of God’s blessings as your family increases with twice the love!

That’s a great story about your grandson! Kids and technology have a funny way of giving us a new perspective for things we often times take for granted :slight_smile: .
Thank you for the kind words as well. I know that God has a plan for our family, and we are eagerly awaiting to see what that blessing looks like!
