Health Care

In 2002, I had no health care coverage. I was a single mom with two children. My medicals bills were more than what I made. I know it is hard living without health insurance. This is what I like to see on the health care bill. I think that insurances should cover everyone not just certain people in good health. We should have to pay something like $97.00 a month and have a deductible of $135.00 a year like Medicare has. Plus you pay 20% of the medical bills and 80% insurance company pays the rest. Then if you want, you could buy a supplement plan to go with it. The only thing I don’t want is the government to tell us what doctor to see either a Diabetes Specialist or general Medical Doctor or we have to wait to have surgery or something like that. This is what I think…

My teenager’s health insurance, if they haven’t met the deductible before the surgery, then I have to pay it before the doctor’s do the surgery… That is what happen when Hayley had to get her gallbladder out. I had to pay first before the surgery. I know what you mean there.
