Help please help anyone quickly I just put my hand in about 7 units of insulin! Will this go in your skin and drop your sugar quickly I cannot take more than .15 that’s .15 units with a decimal in front of it, of a whole unit at once. Is anyone ever put their hand in insulin after they primed their pump dance one goes on a piece of paper but I didn’t realize the paper was under my hand. Has anyone ever put their hand in insulin, how much? It shouldn’t have an effect on you on your sugars at all if it doesn’t go into your skin and into the fat and under your skin right?? I am so nervous that it will start dropping too fast to even stop it as it is now I keep eating and it’s not stopping dropping.
The insulin won’t get absorbed that way.
If you had an open cut and you soaked your hand in the insulin and kept it in there, maybe “some” of it could get absorbed. But from what you described, it will not cause a problem.

Insulin is not absorbed through the skin (wouldn’t that be nice? No more needles!) so you have nothing to worry about. As Eric2 said, you might get a miniscule amount if you had a deep open cut but, even then, it would so small an amount as to be completely unnoticeable.
