Hi, Pam, welcome here. I think the #1 thing that helps me is to keep it out of the house. I also keep in mind how lousy I feel when my bg is that high, and how long it takes me to get it down. It can totally ruin an entire day. I remember when we lived in OK how many tempting goodies they are known for (can you say “Sonic”?). Anyway, we had a good discussion with Erin when she was in the early stages of quitting smoking, and here are some great ideas from Amarilis called “things to do instead of eating”.
