The key for me was to check what your insurance covers for "durable medical" - I was happy & lucky to find out mine paid 100% and is unlimited - since it pays not only for the pump and CGM, but the supplies that go with it....at least until the new insurance coverage comes in, so I'm hurrying up to replace both before then.
I told the endo I wanted one, he agreed. His office did all the work and I got it in the mail about 10 days later. Because we have two health insurance providers, there was no cost to me.
