I’m a T-2 and I was testing 5 times a day per my D.E.'s instructions. My doctor was only ordering enough strips for 1 time a day. When I asked her for more she said my insurance said no because I wasen’t on insulin. Well, now I am on insulin but the doctor will only give me enough strips to check 3 times a day. So…why did my doctor send me to the D.E. if she’s not going to let me follow thier instructions? Why do insurance companies have to make everything so difficult?
