I am a T1 with insulin resistance...what type of diabetic am i?

Scott and all others:

I have the same question. It seems I was DXd T2 but had such insulin resistance that my pancreas is producing only minimal insulin on its own. I had one DR who knew me not claimed I was T1!!! Who to believe?

I am also wondering if a change or a bump in my insulin might help me. At first, when I went on the pump, I was doing so good. The DR had to cut down my doses. Now I can’t get a decent number of save my soul!! And that affects my mood, which affects my habit of stuffing my face under duress! Where to turn? I don’t have another endo appt. for about two months plus.

Lois, welcome to the club your are the worst of both types.

Hi Lois,

How long have you been pumping? It’s your pump, adjust it, slowly, if you feel you need too. Maybe you could do a phone call with an educator at your endo’s office? Just be careful and very slow, minimal changes if you make any

love ya’s babe
