I called my Doc. I have been on 1.2 dose for 2 weeks & have lot's of low's.68 bg this am. After shot.
My DP left the building, so happy about that.My # have really come down within the normal range.Below 130.
I sure do not like all the low I am getting.
She doc said cut back my lantus to 25un. Take 2 glip not 4.If I still have super low,skip back to 0.6.
I have no other issues with it. I guess the low is better then high's. I just need to have a glucose tab at the ready.
The lows you are having are really quite mild. Cutting back on your Lantus will probably really help. It sounds like it has really helped you. I had good results with Victoza, but the party only lasted a couple of weeks before it lost effectiveness. Most people have much better luck with Victoza than I did.
Personally, I wouldn't take Glipizide and certainly would not take it at the same time as Lantus. Perhaps you could talk to your doctor about just doing the Lantus?
