My quality of life has taken a real hit since T1. I think many pwd who have had it all their life are unaware of how much even gentle swings due to imperfect matching of insulin to bg levels has an effect. I relate to your experience of highs and lows, playing with my kids, and wanting to be free to do things without concern. I make myself crazy thinking about diabetes all the time and I’m better off ignoring it as much as possible.

Hey, thanks for the positive feedback. Don, I hear you on wanting to turn it off, but this disease is like tinnitus.
