I hadn’t tested for several days but had my cgm on. Then it expired and I put in a new one. I couldn’t find my meter. I found four old ones. Three had no battery power. and one I didn’t have strips for. So I guessed. I wanted to err on the high side. I initiated my cgm with 200 twice. Then I went onto this forum and searched for a topic I could post this story to. I found one about where to keep diabetes stuff. There were purses, man bags, and backpacks. Backpack, that’s where my meter is. So I tested twice to re-initialize the cgm. It was 188 and 189. I just felt a little thirsty but not a big high and I’d just barely eaten some almond butter and couple crackers for bedtime snack.
