I saw the blog about S.T.A.N.D. and decided to make 5 pledges for myself. they are:
Take more blood sugar readings
Follow a proper carb diet
Keep and accurate record of all blood sugars and insulin
Become a "master" pump wearer
Tell my friends and family that I am a type 1 DIABETIC!!
The last one is going to be the hardest of all.. Truth be told I never acknowledge the fact that I was a diabetic until recently, its been a long hard ruff road.
