Very enlightening blog post Eric. I agree and can relate with you a hundred percent. In fact for my personal benefit, I will include: Ignorance. Diabetes made me realize and appreciate everything from my body, to my family and everything around me. It cured me of my ignorance of the disease/condition. It motivated me to learn more and other conditions that may be related to it and how to deal with it.
