Infusion Line Purging and Random Musings

When I’ve been outside in 90+ weather for more than a few hours I really worry about the stability of my insulin, especially the stuff that is in the infusion tubing. Does anyone else ever reprime the line to clear out the high temp exposed insulin? I’m not talking about being out side for an hour, but like yesterday when it was 95 with a heat index of 105 for 4 hours I worry that when I do bolus it’s not going to be as effective.

I heard recently , that Canadian Country Singer , insulin pumper , George Canyon visited Kandahar, Afghanistan and he did not find, that the high temperature was a concern for the insulin in tubing and reservoir …however I don’t know , if he re-primed
