Insulin pumps 'more effective than injections' for type 2 diabetes

I am on 70/30 insulin with a vial and injection needle. I am 72 and concerned that insulin therapy may do more harm than good.

I am hoping to start with the VGo insulin patch trial soon. Anyone have any experience with this new insulin patch?
