I’ve only just joined this community forum. My family have a heireditaory form of gluten intollerance, but we only discovered it when my dd was 1 year old. I went gluten free with her and my unexplained medical problems ALL disappeared. Since then my mother, brother and sister have been diagnosed. My nephew, and ds are GF by default and havn’t been challenged yet.
When my dd (now 4) was 2 1/2 she was diagnosed with type 1 D. I thought life was complicated enough with a GF diet, let alone cutting out the sugar, white rice & potato flours that send her blood sugars to Mars
