Hey, Jordyn – Welcome! I’m on the OmniPod. There’s a users group here lots of good information can be found there. The pod has no external tubing. The whole pump is self-contained. You program and manage the pump with the PDM. Just before I went on the OmniPod I started with the Dexcom 7 Plus. Having real-time blood glucose information and visible trending, it’s a lot easier to manage your bolusing. Tonight I’m trying a new basal program with a higher basal rate from 3 am to 6 am. I’ve seemed to be going high about then. It’s a pretty cool system. I bet you’ll like it a lot.
